That Boutiquey Whisky Company – Boutiquey Records

PR invite // All thoughts and opinions are, of course, my own.

That Boutiquey Whisky Company had gathered their releases quarterly and by theme and this time around it is the Boutiquey Records.

They hosted a little preview tasting at The Last Word Saloon in Stockbridge and I went along to have a look at the new releases and try a few. This release is a blend of whisky as well as rum and as always they have clever labels with references to things to do with music – be it an in-your-face reference or subtle hints that most of us probably will miss. This collection will be available for purchase from today 27th May.

The standouts of the ones I tried were an 6 year old Daluaine which had some lovely notes of ginger, oloroso sherry and felt like a warm hug and also a 19 year old Ledaig with a more robust character of leather, petrol and sweetness.

Have you tried any whisky from That Boutiquey Whisky Company?
