Stewart Christie & Co has redone the room right next-door to the shop to make place for their ladies wear and hosted an Accidentally Wes Anderson garden party alongside with Hendricks Gin.
I adore Hendricks Gin as cucumber really is one of my favourite flavours when it comes to gin and also gin & tonic. Hendricks were serving up various serves with their classic gin, their Flora Adora and also the Neptunia – and they were all really lovely. Meredith Wilkie had provided some excellent food and styled it in such a beautiful way, which definitely brought thoughts straight to the world of Wes Anderson. Kirsty Downie had set up some gorgeous flower installations as well.
The garden party was hosted in Queen Street Gardens right opposite the shop, and if you are walking by this part of town then you shouldn’t miss checking out Gilbert The Phone Box as well as he’s been immaculately decorated.
It did of course start to rain, but only in the last half hour so we all escaped up to the shop, which is beautiful as well. I had a lovely time – and didn’t mind the rain at all.
