Last time I was at The Cocktail Mafia I really had a great time, so I was excited to be back for the launch of the new Pornstar Martini menu.
To avoid any misunderstandings, the whole menu isn’t only Pornstar Martinis, there’s still plenty of other options, but one page in the menu is dedicated to 6 different version of this classic cocktail. Besides the classic, the other versions have gotten their name from their colours. I got to try the Blue, the Green and the Pink.
The Porn Star Martinis
The Green
JJ Whitley Gin, Midori, Vanilla, Apple, Lemon, Aquafaba, Prosecco
A lovely apple-y creation that I really enjoyed. This was my first pick as I’m quite keen on apple as a flavour in cocktails and if you don’t mind Midori then this is quite a tasty twist.
The Pink
El Suerio Tequila, Agave, Guava, Lime, Aquafaba, Prosecco
I definitely get a fresh note of guava in this one. Not too sweet, but not too much tequila flavour either so also one I’d happily choose again. A hint of colouring turned the prosecco pink (but if you go for the Red instead, you get a shot of tequila rose..)
The Blue
Aluna Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Vanilla, Pineapple, Lime, Aquafaba, Prosecco
Out of these three think the Blue and the Green were my favourites, and the blue gave more of a tropical coconut note, without being too strong.
